This film was great but a compete bastardisation of history. William
Wallace was a noble, not a commoner, Scots didn’t wear kilts until after
the 1500’s, there is no evidence that there ever existed a law in which a
local lord had the right to take the virginity of a newly wed woman,
Isabella was 7 years old when William Wallace died so I highly doubt they
ever had any romantic relationship, William Wallace never took York or even
got close to it and finally the Irish and Scottish hated each other in the
13th century so there was no way they would work together against the
English. Sadly most people who watch this film will take it at face value
and assume that all English are evil and that the Scots have always been
been subjected to horrible treatment. Note that England never conquered
Scotland and that it was King James VI of Scotland who united the countries
by gaining the English throne.

4) *Scotland is far wealthier than the UK*. It still has a wealth of
natural resources that it can export. Those profits can be used to build
infrastructure that can then support a real industry that produces real
goods. The United Kingdom has nothing but a failed banking economy that
only benefits the top 1%, while everyone else gets poorer.
5) *An independent Scotland would remove it from the train wreck that is
the European Union*. Scotland can escape all those paralysing regulations
handed down from unelected kleptocrats in Brussels. Free trade treaties can
easily be set up independently of Europe.
My advice is to listen to all the propaganda on the BBC and recognise that
the corrupt politicians YOU DON’T TRUST want you to vote “No”. *Then on
