On the last Colbert Report show, you can see scores of celebrities singing.
Henry Kissinger is there. He is the only one not participating in the
singing. His heart is so calloused that a song cannot pass from his lips.
This man’s whole life has been spent practicing deceptions on others. With
such adherence to that practice are we to suppose that he’s not ultimately
deceiving himself most.
The opportunity to effect other’s lives is a self-satisfying indulgence
practiced by the shallowest of people; the call themselves the powerful.
Some have an existence aside from it, but man do not.
Henry Kissinger is a syphilitic blister on the shank of humankind’s penis.

Altruistic… Does that word still exist, or is it because we’re watching
at a year 99 speech???
There’s so much subtile hatred in people that praise for altruism, that
it’s healthier just to avoid them, and not be contaminated with the worst
disease called: hate against (our own) nature…
The US allways had and allways will have the stupidest inhabitants
(politicians included especially).
Stop watching and reading the wrong people, beware of the ‘good’ people,
they HATE the ‘not-good-people’ (according to their sick opinion) than
‘bad’ people could possibly hate.
Calling people evil makes you evil!!! I’m wrong: it makes you convert
yourself (voluntarily, however unconsciously) into evil (mostly without
realizing it).

WOW! Another terrific interview. President Obama is the smartest guy in
the room, head & shoulders above the rest.
His analysis of Idealism v. Realism is right-on — using Realism to move
gradually toward Idealism.
That’s where the GOP/Republican simplistic Neo-Con morons completely missed
it. BUSH/CHENEY destroyed modern Iraq under false pretenses under the
silly, juvenile belief that free market capitalism would put it all back
together again.
Instead, they made Al Qaeda 10X stronger & created an endless Muslim
Shia/Sunni civil war that now has spurned an abhorant ISIS that will take
years to destroy — and only AFTER there is a stable Shia/Sunni coalition
Iraqi government to take over once ISIS has been routed.

We definitely hope to see more interviews like this in the future from you
folks at +Vox! This is awesome. Thanks for asking some important questions.
BombasticLove87 says
Obama is the greatest modern president US has had, and it’s sad that a
majority of Americans don’t even know it.
Zul Far says
2:25 that graph is amazing. The amount of democracies in the world has
doubled since the 1990s! That’s remarkable.
What’s best about this chart? The progress hasn’t stopped. In fact 2014 was
one of the biggest years in awhile for international democracy. The
progress continues, tell a friend.
Helder Pinto says
What a great man.
There’s no such thing as a perfect man, let alone a perfect president, but
in my humble opinion, what a great man.
Also, remember, a president is just a puppet, big corporations rule the
world and there’s only so much he can do. But the little he did, i agree
with, like trying to implement some sort of affordable health care, trying
to end useless wars, etc.

Making the world better: Iraq, Libya, Syria, NSA, Guantanamo, Ukraine..
Hell of a performance, Mr. Obama.
free speech says
All tales for fools. The goal of U.S. foreign policy in support of its
hegemony in the world. What is democracy if Europe de facto colony of the
United States? It is surprising that the Europeans to substitute the
concept of freedom of speech on the rudeness and perversion called
democratic values. And actually in Europe, few people know the real
situation in the world. Obama Nobel peace prize! Would give him the scepter
and the crown at once, it would be more honest.
george kenney says
the more you think of it all of the problems we have in the World today are
because of one man and his name is Obama this is a Man who what i think is
yellow running down his back,

Hat’s off to the graphic team on this video, that was really well done,
same with the cinematography

Steve Young says
I’ve seen subtler Scientology recruitment videos than this puff piece Vox
created for our dear leader Obama. Young liberals, wake up, there is great
evil coming, Islamic extremism, faux Christian, totalitarians in Europe.
You young people have never had to fight for your freedoms, but oh, you’ll
have to in your lifetimes. One day we will all have to make a stand or die
on our knees
Don Williams says
that animations were nice, but began to be a little distracting.
DrStrangel0ve2 says
The problem with America’s foreign policy is that it has become a
schizophrenic mix of realism and idealism over the past couple decades (IE:
Bush kissing the rings of King Abdullah and imposing democracy on Iraq at
the same time).
This is impossible to resolve until we no longer separate domestic and
foreign policy – instead of imposing our will on Eurasia we should be
working to make the Americas the most prosperous and democratic continents
on Earth – leading by example.

How did a small channel like this one get an interview of this length?
Excellent job

Why the weird soundtrack?
Why the infographics?
Not to even mention the content, this weird hagiography of Obama. A
justification for a drone strike, surveillance state president.
TheSpiritOfTheTimes says
What meaningless bullshit coupled with clownish graphs.
Jason Adrian says
My favorite part is when Obama starts talking but Matt keeps going. Vox
not lying down in this interview…
John A says
He’s an idealist, of course. Is that really even a question, it’s
obvious. He’s a hard core leftist ideologue who sees the world as he wants
it to be, not how it is. For example, the Islamic State is neither Islamic
or a State. Oh, ok.
Faith Coleridge says

see through his. phony persona

His foreign policy is terrible, no amount of fancy editing will fix that.

conspiracy theory propaganda?
